This Month Featuring the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana

In this era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), any organization that wants to be more efficient must leverage on Information Communication Technologies to propel its development & transformation agenda.

The 4IR has brought to the fore, the important role that ICT can play in the education, training, and practice of nursing and midwifery in Ghana. The Council’s partnership with WCEA to provide a free online platform for Nursing and Midwifery Trainees and Practitioners to gain access to a myriad of professional courses is significant and key in Ghana’s effort to attain Universal Health Coverage by 2030.

The Council is wholeheartedly committed to this partnership with the expectation that more training programs will be rolled out to equip our Trainees and Practitioners to contribute to building a robust and resilient healthcare system in Ghana.

Mr Felix Nyante, CEO & Registrar Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Felix and his amazing team at NMC Ghana for their support. In 19 months since we launched in Ghana, we have managed to connect with and train over 80,000 nurses, midwives, and students.
